About Us

FUNAAB Alumni Ventures Limited (Farm Service Division) offers a unique opportunity to lease vast and fertile farmland, perfect for large-scale crop, livestock, and fishery production. Our farmland, located within the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), provides access to essential agricultural resources, advanced infrastructure, and a supportive farming community. With 2000 acres (800 hectares) of land available, we provide an ideal environment for modern, productive, and profitable farming operations.

What is the total land area available for lease, and how is it divided?

The total land area available for lease is 2,000 acres (800 hectares). The land is divided into slots of 12.5 acres each, which can be leased individually or in multiples depending on your needs

The lease term is 5 years, with an option for renewal upon expiration. Renewal terms and conditions will be discussed prior to the end of the lease period.

The lease rate is #125,000 per 12.5-acre slot per annum. Additionally, there are one-off payments that are single payments which are not part of regular payment schedulefor demarcation/survey and developmental fees, which vary based on the number of slots leased:

Demarcation/Survey Fees:

  • 1 slot = #400,000
  • 2 slots = #750,000
  • 3 slots = #1,000,000
  • 4 slots = #1,200,000

Developmental Fees:

  • 1 slot = #600,000
  • 2 slots = #1,000,000
  • 3 slots = #1,300,000
  • 4 slots = #1,500,000

Mandatory Application Form: #10,000

After payment, the following steps will be taken:

Allocation of farm plot: You will be allocated a farm plot within the Funaab Alumni Farm Hub.

Plot demarcation: Your plot will be demarcated, and you will receive a survey report.

Access to amenities: You will have access to amenities such as proper road networks and effective security.

Farm management support: The Alumni Association will provide farm management support, including training and advisory services.

No, the Alumni Association will not manage the farm on behalf of any lessee. However, the Association will provide:

Farm management support and advisory services.

Training and capacity-building programs.

Access to markets and other value-chain services.

Linkage as referrer to experts among FUNAAB Alumni members as the case may be.
